First ever Billington Lab annual retreat!
Lab spends a full day reflecting on our interests and ambitions
The Billington Lab gathered for our first annual retreat at the Stanford Press Building for a full day of bonding, learning, reflection, and planning. Flora and Eva opened the day with a fun get-to-know-you activity, followed by a research skillshare led by Daisy and Laura. Andrea and Antonio then guided a discussion on the opportunities and limitations of AI in research, while Sarah and Daria led conversations on the lab manual and a potential global side project.
We ended the day over wood fire pizza at the Alpine Inn, grateful for the time together (and having found parking) and excited about what lies ahead!
