Antonio delivers HAI seminar on ethical supply chains research

 

Antonio and Prof. Dan Iancu deliver seminar at Stanford’s Human-Centered Artifical Intelligence (HAI) Institute.

The talk, titled “Interpretable Machine Learning and Mixed Datasets for Predicting Child Labor Risk in the Ghanaian Cocoa Sector,” presented preliminary findings from a working paper supported by the Lab’s joint HAI seed grant with Prof. Iancu from the Stanford Graduate School of Business. The paper explores how how datasets of varying quality and scale can be combined to enable robust predictions in data-scarce contexts and how machine learning can be used to accurately identify households at high risk of child labor.
