Daria presents at the 2026 SDSS Research Review

Lightening talk features new lab work on low-carbon cement

After recieving a Doerr School research grant, Daria had the opportunity to present at the Stanford Doerr School of Sustainability (SDSS) Research Review event. Her presentation focused on the scalability of a geomimetic alternative (“Phlego”) to Ordinary Portland Cement (OPC) for structural concrete applications. Phlego cement is currently being developed by Prof. Tiziana Vanorio and colleagues at Stanford.
