Prof. Billington gives seminar at Northwestern

Prof. Billington was invited to give a seminar in the CAE Seminar Series in the Department of Civil & Environmental Engineering at Northwestern University. Her talk titled Interdisciplinary, Human-centered Approaches to Building for Wellbeing highlighted the lab’s work on hybrid physical+digital spaces as well as ethical supply chains. She was hosted by Prof. Giorgia Chinazzo and had the opportunity to meet with many of the faculty and enjoy lunch with several students. It was special to be on Northwestern’s campus, where her mother received her Bachelor’s degree in 1949!
