Prof. Billington delivers talk on nature quantification at EDRA 56 in Halifax, Canada

Prof. Billington attended the 56th Environmental Design Research Association (EDRA) conference in Halifax, Canada to present findings from Dr. Eva Bianchi’s PhD research. The talk, titled “Evaluating the Impact of Indoor Nature Dose on Building Occupant Stress, Belonging, and Restorativeness” highlighted how indoor greenery boosts feelings of belonging at work as well a restorativeness. The conference included multiple sessions on biophilic design, immersive virtual reality for environmental perception, and workplace design strategies to promote occupant wellbeing.
